Sean Havrilla is a composer, lyricist, orchestrator, and conductor, primarily working in new musical theatre, opera, and contemporary classical music, based in New York City.

His work has been heard at 54 Below, The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman Theatre, various colleges and universities, and by his very patient neighbors in Queens.   

He holds a BM in Composition from Texas Tech University, and an MFA in Musical Theater Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and is a participant in the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. He's studied with Dr. Peter Fischer, Dr. Mei Feng Lin, Michael John La Chiusa, Randall Eng, Fred Carl, among many others. 

He is also an accomplished oboist.
